Service Description and Availability
Clarification of Services:
All services provided by Sweet Secrets Body Sugaring & More are described in detail on our website. Each service listing includes essential information and any prerequisites needed to ensure client preparedness and satisfaction.
Availability:
The availability of services shown on our website is subject to change without prior notice due to varying factors such as demand, seasonality, and staffing.
Refunds & Exchanges
If you are dissatisfied with your service, please email us at [email protected] within 24 hours. We will then offer a suitable correction.
A refund in the form of store credit may be processed at the sole discretion of management at Sweet Secrets Body Sugaring & More.
Service exchanges and store credit must be raised to management who will thoroughly review any cases and work toward a meaningful resolution.

Purchase Terms
All services, promotions, and bundles purchased online must be booked and redeemed within 6 months from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise or approved by management. Sweet Secrets reserves the right to end the sale of any offer at any time.
Special Offer Example:
The $35 Brazilian Sugaring at Marion St. Valentine’s Offer must be purchased and redeemed at the Marion location in February 2025.
Appointment Policy
Booking and Cancellations
Appointments are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule to avoid a late cancellation fee. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur fees as outlined below.
Late Arrivals
Clients who arrive late will be accommodated for the remaining appointment duration. If the service cannot be provided within the remaining time, it will be treated as a late cancellation.
Deposit Requirement (Effective September 1, 2025)
To ensure fair access to appointments and reduce last-minute cancellations, the following deposit policy applies:

All appointments over 25 minutes in length. Applies to both new and returning clients.Deposit Amount:
A 50% deposit of the service cost is required at the time of booking.Payment Methods:
Credit card on file (securely stored; charged only if late-cancel/no-show).

Non-Refundable Policy:
Deposits are strictly non-refundable, regardless of payment method.If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, the deposit will be retained as a credit toward the rescheduled service.
Credits must be used within 90 days of the original booking date.
If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if the client does not attend the appointment, the deposit will be forfeited and charged.
Chargeback Protection:
In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, the client remains responsible for the full cost of the scheduled service.
This policy ensures that appointment availability remains fair for all clients and that our team’s time and resources are respected.
User Accounts and Security
Account Creation and Security:
Users may create accounts to manage their bookings and personal information. It is the user’s responsibility to keep account details and passwords confidential. Sweet Secrets is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the user’s failure to comply with this security obligation.
Accuracy of Information:
Users must ensure that all personal and payment information provided is accurate and up-to-date to avoid any issues with bookings and communications.

Buy Now, Pay Later (Afterpay & Sezzle, interest-free installments)
Taxes: Charged in accordance with provincial tax mandates.
Environmental Stewardship Fee: $2.50 per appointment + tax (in-house only).
Gifting: Gifted services require payment of service plus eco-fee and taxes in-house after the appointment.

User Conduct and Responsibilities
Respectful Interaction:
Users must act respectfully when using the website and during appointments. Abusive or offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
Compliance with Policies:

Waiver:
All clients must sign and agree to a service waiver before receiving services.
Minors Policy
Under 18: Parent/legal guardian consent form required.
Age 16–17: Signed consent + guardian present in salon.
Under 16: Guardian must remain in salon for the full service. Some services require guardian presence in treatment room.
Environmental Stewardship Fee
Sweet Secrets partners with Green Circle Salons to promote sustainability. A $2.50 + tax stewardship fee is added to each appointment. This fee helps divert salon waste from landfills and supports eco-conscious beauty practices.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
Sweet Secrets strives for high-quality services, but outcomes may vary. We disclaim guarantees of specific results and are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
Some marketing visuals and copy may use AI-generated content for illustrative purposes only. These do not depict real individuals unless explicitly stated.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Sweet Secrets harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from misuse of the site, services, or breach of these terms.

💬 Deposit & Appointment FAQ
❓ Do I lose my deposit if I cancel because I’m sick?
If you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, your deposit will transfer as a credit to your rescheduled appointment (valid for 90 days). If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the deposit will be forfeited.
❓ What if I’m running late?
We’ll do our best to accommodate you within the remaining appointment time. If the service cannot be completed, it will be treated as a late cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited.
❓ Can I move my deposit to a different service?
Yes! As long as you reschedule or cancel with 24+ hours’ notice, you can apply your deposit to another service of equal or greater value.
❓ Why are deposits non-refundable?
Deposits help us reserve your appointment just for you. Last-minute cancellations leave gaps in our schedule and prevent other clients from booking. This policy ensures fairness and protects our team’s time.
❓ What if I booked a promo or special offer?
Deposits apply to all services, promotions, and bundles. If you reschedule within the 24-hour window, your deposit stays attached to that offer (must be used before the promo’s expiry).
❓ Can I get around the policy with a chargeback or refund request?
No — deposits are strictly non-refundable, regardless of payment method. In the event of a dispute or chargeback, clients remain responsible for the full cost of the scheduled service.
